Krystal Luu is a multidisciplinary creative whose practice bridges ceramics, art therapy, and storytelling. Grounded in the belief that mindful connection fosters healing, her work explores the intersection of self-expression, mindfulness, and emotional well-being.
Through her ceramic practice, Krystal creates functional pottery that invites joy, slowness, and ritual into everyday life. Each piece, handcrafted in small batches from Australian clay, serves as a reminder to bring intention into the spaces we inhabit.
Krystal also facilitates pottery workshops and is deepening her commitment to art as a tool for healing by studying Transpersonal Art Therapy and Counselling. Through both artistic and therapeutic lenses, Krystal strives to cultivate spaces that honour creativity as a transformative force—spaces for play, presence, and self-expression that nurture personal and collective growth.
Born on Awabakal Country and now living and learning on Gadigal and Bidjigal Country in Western Sydney, Krystal is committed to decolonising her practice and working towards the collective liberation of all peoples, honouring the wisdom of Indigenous cultures in the pursuit of a more compassionate and inclusive world.
I acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples, the Traditional Owners of the land on which I live, learn and work on, who have cared for its coastlines and ecosystems since time immemorial. I pay my respects to their Elders past and present. Sovereignty has never been ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
